Why You Should Customize the Apps and Widgets on Your iPhone Home Screen
Wallpaper isn't the only way to customize your iPhone home screen. Change App Icon on iPhone
Although The home app screen has its own logo, you can use iOS features to change the appearance of the application icon.
Tap the plus icon in the upper right corner.
Select additional features.
Type Open App in the search bar and select the Open App feature.
Then click Apps and select the app you want to customize.
Then click the down arrow next to Open App at the top.
From the Add menu on the Home screen, tap.
When you see the home screen name and icon, rename the shortcut to your liking.
Now go to your favorite browser and find the new icon image. For example, you can search for "Facebook icon aesthetics". When you find a photo you like, save it in the Photos app.
Return to the Savings app and tap the icon under your name and icons on the home screen. Select Photo and tap the saved photo. You can enlarge or reduce the image. Tap Select.
Finally, press Add.
You now have a custom app on your phone (it's actually a bookmarklet). You can remove the original app from your home screen, but you can easily find it in your app collection.
iPhone Home Screen Widget Customization
The app isn't the only thing you can customize. You can also add flavor to your widgets with this 3rd party app:
Download his Widgetsmith app for iPhone.
Choose a custom widget size in the app. Options are small, medium, and large.
Tap a widget to customize it. You can change fonts and colors. When you're done, go back and click Save.
Go to the home screen and long press on any screen.
In edit mode, tap the plus icon in the upper left corner and search for Widgetsmith. Tap the icon.
Select the size of the widget you want to add to your home screen and click Add Widget.
To edit a widget, press Applications, and select Edit Widgets. that's all! The home screen now has icons of different sizes with a customized look.
You can create widgets for specific functions and applications such as photos, time, date, weather (paid), health, battery, calendar, reminders, tides (paid), and astronomy.
